——On the "the Belt and Road" National High tech Industry and Innovative Development Seminar

Visit Shanghai DEMC Automotive Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of HCD Group

In autumn October, 32 government officials, business executives, experts and scholars from 11 countries along the "the Belt and Road" gathered in Shanghai to participate in the "the Belt and Road" National High tech Industry and Innovation Development Seminar sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China and organized by the Shanghai Asia Pacific Economic and Information Technology Talent Training Center. As an important practical part of this training class, on the afternoon of October 24th, the trainees of the training class walked into Shanghai DEMC Automotive Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "DEMC") and conducted a deep investigation and exchange activity to jointly explore the innovation and prospects of high-tech industries and intelligent manufacturing.

HCD Group attaches great importance to the visit of this training class, and Mr. Chen Ze, the CEO of the group, personally arranged and deployed the reception work. As a subsidiary of HCD Group, DEMC has made careful preparations for this visit, accompanied by Mr. Xu Guosheng, the company's general manager, throughout the process. Appointed by Mr. Chen Ze, the President of the HCD Group, Mr. Xu Xianzhong, Vice President of Technology and General Manager of Sales Center of HCD Group, attended the reception on behalf of the Group, and participated in exchanges with Mr. Zhang Haojue, General Manager of DEMC Sales Center, Mr. Wang Tiancheng, General Manager of Overseas Business Unit, Mr. Mao Shenglong, Program Director of Overseas Business Unit Solutions, and others, demonstrating the sincere and open attitude of HCD Group and Shanghai DEMC towards international exchange and cooperation.

At the beginning of the event, the trainees of the training class first visited the exhibition hall of DEMC under the guidance of Mr. Wang Tiancheng, General Manager of the Overseas Business Department. The exhibition hall comprehensively presents the global layout and various business sectors of HCD Group, covering three major sectors: robot automation, logistics and warehousing automation, and Industry 4.0 new energy. It has complete system integration and technical service capabilities in the fields of automobile manufacturing, new energy drive, and smart logistics. Mr. Wang Tiancheng gave a detailed introduction to the business and products of DEMC. As the core force of HCD Group in the field of automotive equipment manufacturing, DEMC focuses on key technologies such as body in white welding, flexible assembly, and intelligent manufacturing systems, serving customers worldwide, including well-known brands such as T, B, S, and F.

Subsequently, under the leadership of Mr. Wang Tiancheng, the trainees walked into DEMC's intelligent production workshop and observed the operation scenarios of advanced equipment such as robot welding, flexible production lines, and intelligent conveyors on site. Combining with the dynamic display of the production line, Mr. Wang Tiancheng explained in detail the technological breakthroughs and practical applications of DEMC in digital twin, virtual debugging, AI vision, and other aspects.

During the symposium, Ms. Wang Kemin from the Shanghai International Training Center of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research first delivered a speech on behalf of the organizers. She emphasized that China's practical achievements in the high-tech industry have important reference significance, and hoped that this visit could not only bring learning gains to the students, but also become a bridge for students from various countries to establish connections and carry out cooperation with Chinese enterprises. In his welcoming speech, Mr. Xu Guosheng, the general manager of DEMC, said that HCD Group is a global group. As an important part of HCD Group, DEMC always adheres to the concept of open cooperation and win-win development, and looks forward to sharing the experience of HCD Group in the field of intelligent manufacturing with partners of the "the Belt and Road" countries to jointly promote industrial upgrading and technological innovation.

Subsequently, Mao Shenglong, the program director of the overseas business unit of DEMC, systematically introduced DEMC's core products and technical solutions to the trainees, including flexible welding assembly production lines, new energy motor assembly lines, intelligent logistics systems, etc. He detailed DEMC's strong technology and flagship products, and demonstrated DEMC's successful practices in multiple large-scale projects at home and abroad with typical cases.

During the communication and discussion session, the students enthusiastically asked questions and the atmosphere was lively. Several representatives conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as the strategic layout of various sectors in DEMC's global strategy and strategic considerations for the African sector, as well as the applicability and promotion path of intelligent manufacturing technology in small-scale industries. Mr. Xu Xianzhong, vice president of technology and general manager of sales center of HCD Group, responded one by one, sharing the project experience of HCD Group in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and other regions, stressing that HCD Group will help enterprises at different stages of development achieve "customized" intelligent transformation through modular and flexible technical solutions, and looking forward to various forms of cooperation and technical exchanges with countries under the support of the "the Belt and Road" strategy.

The event came to an end with the summary of Mr. Wu Chentao, the representative of the relevant department of the Economic and Information Commission! This DEMC visit is not only a field teaching of the "the Belt and Road" seminar, but also a grand event of technology exchange and concept collision. Through face-to-face communication and real-life experiences, trainees from different countries have deepened their understanding of the current development status of intelligent manufacturing in China.
