On July 3, 2024, the 19th Shanghai International Automotive Manufacturing Technology&Material Show officially opened at Pudong International Expo Center, lasting for 3 days from July 3 to July 5. Shanghai DEMC, Hubei DMW, and Wuhan DEMC, subsidiaries of the group, joined hands to participate in the exhibition. The exhibition booth covers an area of 144 square meters. In order to facilitate customer communication, it is built in a double layered form for display. A separate conference room and meeting area are set up on the second floor.

In this joint exhibition, various companies combined their technological innovation characteristics, responded to the needs of industry customers, and combined with localization requirements to display numerous customized products in the form of physical equipment and virtual simulation. After joint discussions on sales, technology, and projects, the physical equipment proposed for exhibition includes: stacking chain tray conveyor, virtual debugging and rolling edge roller head, door automatic installation system solution, roller head, online magnetic steel fully automatic assembly machine, Small Pallet system, AMR mobile robot and commercial vehicle frame production line model, flat wire motor stator; Displayed in the form of virtual simulation videos include: laser wire filling welding, remote laser welding, automatic installation of front door&AMR, automatic bar changing system, AMR and vertical warehouse simulation, BDC body warehouse, and automotive production line.

Door automatic installation system solution: The robot is equipped with a vision system to achieve automatic intelligent assembly technology and solutions for door covers. By using 3D vision sensors to take photos of the door cover and door frame, identifying and extracting features such as corners, edges, and surfaces, calculating the gaps and surface differences between the door and door frame at various positions, and further calculating the optimal assembly position of the door cover relative to the vehicle body and door frame through gap surface difference matching algorithm, the robot system is guided to achieve optimal assembly. The use of this system will significantly reduce the workload of adjusting door cover assembly, improve assembly accuracy, reduce repair rates and subsequent workstation adjustments, and effectively improve production efficiency.

AMR Mobile Robot and Commercial Vehicle Frame Production Line Model: It is a heavy-duty mobile robot that uses laser navigation and can be widely used in various industrial, warehousing and logistics, intelligent manufacturing and other scenarios. Carrying AMR is a robot platform with upper level expansion capabilities and chassis mobility. It can adapt to various upper level expansion needs, such as rollers, multi-layer transplanting forks, lifting platforms, etc. It has rich secondary development and expansion capabilities and can be widely used in various industrial, warehousing and logistics, intelligent manufacturing and other scenarios. The commercial vehicle frame production line model is a 1:1 replica of the entire production process of commercial vehicle frames. Each process equipment adopts a digital and intelligent management mode, and real-time collection and monitoring of equipment and product data are carried out during operation. The control based on big data can achieve the function of one click ordering and fully automatic delivery of products.

DEMC made a full appearance at the exhibition and simultaneously participated in the New Energy Vehicle Engineering Summit organized by the organizers from July 2nd to July 3rd. At the theme summit on the morning of July 2nd, Xu Guosheng, President of Shanghai DEMC, delivered a keynote speech on the development path of the integrators under the new quality productivity. Through a 30 minute speech, he shared with everyone the business layout of DEMC under the new quality productivity, the practical process from automation to intelligence, and the planning and outlook for the future technological development path. On the afternoon of July 2nd, He Zhenwen, Deputy Director of Shanghai DEMC Robotics Center, participated in the round table forum on "Challenges of Multi Material Connection Technology for New Energy Electric Vehicles". He played two roles on his own, serving as both the host and a guest speaker, engaging in in-depth discussions with fellow guests, while also sharing with everyone the current application of DEMC's connectivity technology.
